Help me chose Between these two portable Pellet smokers. RT-340 be Grilla Chimp

After a lot of research I’m down to these two. Does anyone have experience with these that can help me to decide?

I just ordered a Rectec that will hopefully ship this week. I went with the 590 though

I have the rt-340. Holds temp great, extremely well made, great customer service if there is an issue, and the app works great & makes monitoring your cook very easy. Definitely recommend.

Do you HAVE to use the app?
Like if you bring it somewhere with you that doesn’t have WiFi, you can just use the controls on unit itself?

No, you can use the controls on the unit itself. I use it that way when I smoke something at the camp or anywhere else I tote it.

I have had a Rec-Tec 340 for about 3 months now, and I'm very pleased with it and would recommend. In hind sight I should have gotten a 590, but if you really need the portable option you will be thrilled with the 340.
