Hit Rouses yesterday and 10 lb. bags of leg quarters are $.58 a lb. and they are real nice size, not the ones that look like they came off a damn pigeon. There were 8 to a bag, so over 1 lb. each. I've got a pot of stock going with the cut-offs.

They also have whole pork loins for $1.65 a lb. and that are real nice. I got 18 steaks 1in. thick plus used the trim pieces to square it up for stir fry. That was $16 + tax, so about $1 a pork steak.

I also noticed Savoie's Sausage in the 3 lb. box in one of the meat cases and last week they were selling for under $8. I didn't check the price to see if it's the same since I had already picked up some.

If you don't use it already the Flipp app works well for a central spot for all the stores weekly sales flyers.

I have two sent to my e-mail inbox and they include Winn-Dixie and Rouses and it is a simple google search for Zuppardo's, Canseco's and Robert's.

The last 3 have just 1 page of sale items where W-D and Rouses have several pages.

Flipp app

Very useful. They also have previews for the next weeks sales flyers if you want to delay the grocery shopping for a day or two until the new sales start
