Is that the place that steams the burgers?

I've been to Louis many years ago. I enjoyed it. Just don't ask for ketchup

No doubt. Was it a top 5 burger for you?

Louis Lunch. It was a unique experience if not a great burger. Had it twice and that was enough for me. The restaurant itself is the real star. The steamed meat sandwich not so much. Just my opinion. Now Apizza on the other hand... Frank Pepe's, Modern, and Sally's all rock.

I ate at Sally's last summer and the pizza was on par with frozen pizza. I had eaten several great pizzas in NYC on that trip and was really disappointed in what I had in New Haven.

I disagree with this post 100%. Sally’s is possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had.

As far as the burgers, I enjoyed it a lot and I wouldn’t say it’s just a novelty place. If you’re a fan of pure beef flavor then you should be all over it. I got mine with the grilled onions too.

I liked Pepe better than Sally's. I also liked Zuppardi's better than Sally's.
