Is it more expensive then the store or about equal?

Do you have a slaughter house?

If you can give me an answer to my question I’ll think about letting you use it.

I raise most of my own meat and I cannot compete with the grocery stores on price. It is not even close on chickens. It sure taste good though.

My buddy runs Fullness Organic and I bought vegetables straight from him a few years back when they were first getting started. I've since moved farther away, and they've blown up. But it was a great feeling to buy straight from a local farm

Only from farmers markets. More expensive. Quality is marginally better. Usually a pain in the arse as far as convenience.

When I lived in Huntsville there was a family who would deliver stuff to a couple of dropoff places. We got eggs, milk, and occasionally got meat. It wasn’t cheap but it wasn’t outrageous either.

I buy almost all of my meat directly from a local farm. They actually deliver to my house weekly, so very convenient.
And yes, it will be more expensive than your typical grocery store, except maybe WF.
Which is why I don't understand why people buy meat from WF. If you are going to pay premium, buy local.

Does anyone have recommendations for buying meat from a local farm in or around Baton Rouge?
