Last year I went to Pensacola. There I went fishing. We used these circular wire lures to catch bait. The bait we caught was named hardtail. After catching a large number of these hardtail for bait, we caught no other fish. An older man fishing next to us told us hardtail was excellent as sushi. I kept several and filleted them when I got back to the condo. I ate it raw with soy sauce. It was very good. It reminded me of mackerel and amberjack. I would recommend it. Have you eaten hardtail as sushi?

So what you are saying is you lightly swabbed the fish with wasabi and then brushed it with a little soy?

Under no circumstances did you mix the wasabi with the sauce, correct?

Once again you have proven yourself to be gullible, stupid and one with an exceptionally poor palate.

Those are some bloody little creatures when you cut them open.

Like other mackerel and jacks, if you cut out the bloodline, you are fine.

What does a palette have to do with this?

I would prefer to feed a big circle hook into those hardtails and feed them to an AJ or grouper. Never thought about keeping them to eat; usually fixated on feeding them to other fish!
