Any of y'all try this yet? Looks like it'll be legit for beef especially. I ordered a couple of the blacks to try

Activated charcoal? At a minimum, your hangover will be decreased.

This has been available for years as charcoal flavored seasoning. It's neat and adds a faint grilled flavor but it's a waste if you are already cooking over charcoal.

I use a coffee rub that gives me a dark crust like that. That reminds me that I need to order some more.

Just make your own. Salt, black pepper, granulated garlic, finey ground coffee

Not sure how I would like the taste of coffee on beef. I am a traditionalist and stick to salt, pepper, and maybe garlic powder.

You don't really taste the coffee. I don't like coffee.

Why would I want my pork to look like this?

Coffee rubbed beef is pretty good, but I usually stick to the basics as well.

I feel like it might work better with pork.

Yes, for the most part. There is a little different flavor but it doesn't taste like coffee.

I don't. I bought it for beef... which is what I cook 90% of the time. They make a red rub for pork.
