Did you like the octopus? One plate made it's way down to me and I ate most of it. It was interesting, I liked it.
I tried the Scalibut, that was probably the only thing I thought was a bit strange. Crazy how the scallops melded into the fish.
Watermelon/pork belly was probably my second favorite thing all weekend. Coquette had this pork stew for brunch that was lights-out good.
We were there at 8, one of the upper booths at the back of the restaurant....perfect for surveying the whole dining room and people watching.
Yeah, I enjoyed the octopus. I'd have to give Domenica and La Petite Grocery the edge on their preparation though.
Scalibut was pretty damn good. Enjoyed it. And yeah, it's almost seamless.
