I read the post before reading the author and knew this was you

Not that there is anything wrong with that…

ETA: also, I’ve always wondered, is your “handle” an “Everybody Loves Raymond” reference.

I've always assumed it was a NOLA reference, to the intersection of 6th and Baronne streets, but the latter would be misspelled, so who knows

Does anyone have any facts to back this up besides just hearing it from others? I’m not discounting this, I’m genuinely interested in the science.

Look into how tiramisu is properly made. It’s an actual phenomenon, do your own research if you’re so skeptical but “bro science” annoys me as much as anyone and I’m sure this is science backed based on how many different types of desserts, breads, and dishes require it

Vanilla wafers have a certain taste fresh out of the box. Bananas have a certain taste when first peeled. Sweetened condensed milk the same. Mix them together and plop into the fridge for a day or two and the vanilla wafers get all banana juice soft and sweet milky, same with the thick stuff and the banana stuff and you have a whole new taste we like to call Banana Pudding, which is a technical term for "Really good stuff to sneak a bowlful of at 11:45 just before bedtime".
