Found Sonny’s Korean in Lafayette and it is super good. Now I read about Greyson’s on Waitr, another new restaurant I am going to add to the rotation. Anyone have any experiences there yet.
Thanks in advance for your input.

The people behind Greyson's are associated with the neighboring Victoria's Seafood and Asian Market, which I really like and frequent regularly. They poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into renovations and the place looks nice, sleek and clean, with an impressive fish tank to greet you when you enter.

They've dumped a ton of money into the place, but haven't invested in a website or even landed themselves on google. Once, when I was shopping at Victoria's and because there's virtually nothing online about Greyson's, I decided to stop into the restaurant to check out any sort of menu. It was about 6:30pm, the time where there should be diners in the restaurant. It was a ghost town. No diners, and no staff, and I mean zero staff. They apparently have no doorbell to alert them in the kitchen when a customer enters because I stood there for a few minutes. I looked around for a to go menu by the door and saw nothing. I walked my way to the counter closest to the kitchen and again looked for any sign of a menu, to go or regular, or even anyone who worked there...nothing. I did hear a small child whimpering and a female's voice come from the kitchen, but after almost five minutes of being the only entity in the dining room, I decided to leave. I love my Asian food, but as far as that experience went, it was a fail in every way possible. Perhaps someone whose actually received service there can interject how the food is. I'm not giving that place a chance to succeed.

To the OP, I agree that Sunny's is good grub. If you're looking for good Vietnamese and haven't yet, try Zen next to the ATT store/la Pizzeria on Amb Caff.

That is strange. We frequent this establishment often and it was always a pleasure with the food and staff. Was this recent? Do you remember what day you stopped in?
