I believe it is just strained regular yogurt. We used to call it "yogurt cheese."

I like the tang. I think I use it in sauces way more than eating it plain

Truth, strain regular plain yogurt through cheese cloth.

Here to stay, esp the plain kind. I use it in place of sour cream for everything from baking to onion dip.

Substitute for sour creme in recipes and you have yourself an incredibly healthy dip/sauce/addition

It's here to stay because of the higher protein content. I still can't get used to the taste though.

I use it as a replacement for sour cream and mayo. Mix it with siracha and sometime with buffalo sauce to make sauces go sandwiches or fish.

I eat a ton of it, but only fruit ones like strawberry and blueberry. No point in eating nasty plain yogurt. FWIW Winn Dixie brand is my favorite.
