Have you tried Eliza on Jefferson Hwy?? Behind the Whitney Bank
If that’s too fancy JED’s next door to Red Stick Spice closer to Government is good too
Oh and people rant and rave about Elsie’s - I haven’t been there but I want to try it soon

Thanks for those recs, gonna try next time.
Eliza was busy, so we ended up trying BLDG 5 since we found out a former coworkers family opened it.
Food was really good, except one (the original steak sandwich). Unfortunately a karen came in and ruined the atmosphere for everyone and made the hostess cry.

I hate people. How you can be rude to service people is legitimately beyond my comprehension.
I was supposed to go to Bldg5 at noon today. Now I wish I did because I will straight up berate rude customers
