Cedar Creek / Bungalow Heights - decent bar food and you have a good number of bars and a couple of breweries to walk around to in that area.

That area is solid. You pay a premium for food and drinks but good quality and great variety. 3 solid bars with food all next to each other.

Not really. East of downtown is a waste land besides EADO.

Hay Merchant
8 Row Flint
Cottonwood
Kirby Ice House (food trucks)
The Rustic...eaten here once...was just ok...the giant outdoor space and cold beer is what counts though
Any of the Creek places if you're just looking for a patio...Cedar/Onion/Canyon or their other place Piggy's

Like someone pointed out...there are a bunch of bars within walking distance of each other on 19th/20th.
