Frozen Boston Butts from 2021 and 2022?

I found two Boston butts hiding in the bottom of my deep freeze. One said freeze by Aug 2021 and the other said freeze by March 2022.
What’s the likelihood these are still good? If they are I was gonna smoke them on July 4th.

If they aren’t freezer burnt, they will be fine.

They are Hormel brand and in the thick plastic shrink wrap. Not sure if they are freezer burned or not. I guess I will do a slow thaw in the refrigerator and see

They'll be fine even if a little freezer burned. My wife has a habit of throwing things in the freezer while still in the store packaging, unless it's a really thin lean quality meat or it's chicken, it's fine.

You should be fine but it give it the ole smell test after you rinse it off. I went help my neighbor make deer sausage last week, we cut a pack of butts open that were previously frozen and new right away they were bad.
