Went for lunch. I've been some places and seen some things. Nothing could have prepared me for this place.
I want to write a review but honestly the entire experience was so exhausting I don't have the energy. If you want to see this train wreck for yourself, go soon because if they are still open by the end of October I will be utterly shocked.

This the same guy that had a restaurant in Zachary?

Was it mostly service or quality of food related?

Sat at the bar. Opened the "French" menu to see chicken KABAB's on the menu. As well as Chicken MARCELLLA. On their special's board, they had chicken KOBOB's.
So clearly there's an issue with the spellcheck.
After waiting on our server for about 15 mins I finally decided to take a gamble and order the Chicken Marcella (which is prominently displayed in the middle of the menu). The server tells me they're out of that.
I then notice a French Club sandwich, with a picture of the sandwich of ham, bacon, lettuce etc on a croissant. It has a side of honey mustard in the photo.
I order the French Club w/ honey mustard. I'm then told that the honey mustard costs $0.50. Then the server asks if I want the sandwich on a croissant like the photo. I say YES. She says "that will cost another $1.00 then."
At this point I'm so confused by this place I'm honestly excited to see what comes out of the kitchen. I thought about ordering a glass of wine. I wonder if the owner of this place owns a wine distributorship or something, because behind the bar there were literally 300 bottles of Woodbridge on display, along with a few dozen bottles of Kendall Jackson.
My sandwich comes out. It's on toasted bread. The "chips" as a side was a stale bag of Lay's chips....still in the bag. There was 1 tiny piece of bacon. There was an assload of romaine lettuce on the sandwich. It only took about 3 bites to finish the sandwich it was so pathetic.
During this whole ordeal, another couple sat down at the bar beside us. About 8 minutes in, after no one even greeted them, they yelled "This place is a joke!" and got up and left.
Behind me, was a guy seated at a table by himself, when we arrived. As I was leaving, we saw him telling the people at the table next to him that this place is the biggest disaster he's ever seen. He still had not received any food, and he arrived before we did, and we were already leaving.
Aside from the server taking about 10 minutes to break my $20 to pay for my lunch, that was the end of it. There was so much absurdity with this place it really hasn't even sunk in yet.

I've been twice, the grilled tuna salad is excellent. The service was average, but I'm not really dramatic.

That place is a dumpster fire, but hot damn their cheesecake is great.

Isn't this the place that someone said in a previous thread had an owner who has already had one restaurant fail due to him being a complete a-hole?
