Put it on an hour before the other steaks. That's what I do when someone wants well done. I literally don't care how it comes out.

For those who don't like what I have said, I eat my steaks medium rare, towards rare, but if you eat at my home, I will cook your steak to your preferred doneness

Smoke it to lock in some flavor. Then sear it to a hockey puck. It’ll suck by your standards, but at least there will be flavor. Butter, shallots, garlic, and thyme are your friend.
