TBD: Lips of Faith Tart Lychee. A good American WIld ale. If it was just a little more on the sour side this would be a home run. If you want a slow walk into sours, this could be a good one to try.

Is it like Brux? I liked Brux.

Then you would like it. It's different, but the sour notes are similar. I've never had Lychee so I don't know what to expect (Google searches show it looks like raspberry and would have said that's what the taste is). There is also a nice cinnamon flavor to it.

I have a 2010 and a 2011, and was going to bust them out with a 2012, but will probably leave them and just add a 2012 to it

I really enjoyed the 2012. They had a 2011 on the shelf when I picked up the 2012 and I started to grab it. I ended up not getting it b/c I wasn't sure how it had been stored for the past year. Was it out on the shelf, cellared by the store and then put out, or held back by the brewery? The clerk had no clue and looked at me like I was speaking Latin when I asked about it.

I haven't tried that one but had the Lips of Faith Biere De Mars last night and it was kind of the same. Just a slight hint of sour w/ a bit more of a barnyard funk kick but nothing that made it stand out. Could have been a great brew but seemed too tame.

Yeah, the la Folie was by far the best I've had from their sours, but I ain't bitchin' because I hope other breweries start to follow suit and brew more wild/sours. I'm excited to try the Mole too.

It seems to be catching on here in Texas with Jester King and Real Ale both putting out some interesting stuff. I think Freetail down in San Antonio does some but I have never tried any of their offerings.

If you know them off the top of the head, what are some of their sours to be looking for?

So to the Sour Puss's on here, what would be a good cheese to go with this Rodenbach?
