And I get accused of bringing substandard rap culture into the beer threads.

btw this Audacity Of Hops from Cambridge Brewery is bad to the bone.
enjoying the last 3/8ths of the bottle now. loving it. reminds me of Abrasive but not quite as much of a citrus backbone.

If I were in your shoes I'd be taking 3 breakfast stouts in a cooler to the golf course at 8 am.

I have myself a goal of two 5ks a week. Not impressive by the standards of some FBDers, but more than I want to do. I hate running.

i was very tempted to tee it up tomorrow actually, but i have to run a couple errands and clean my place up before heading out thursday, so the bike will just have to work.
shite, and i have to pack, but that's nothing. just throw some swimming trunks in a bag with a tooth brush and i'm out. after i fill up the ice chest.

FBD was a Purple Haze at Happy's to warm up for the beer mile relay.
SBD was a can of Tin Roof Blonde immediately before running a 1/4 mile. Our team ran a 5:42 mile, but finished mid-pack.
TBD at Bulldog was an Abita Buffalo Trace barrel aged Turbodog. As much shite as I give Abita, this was really good. Enough bourbon to let you know it's there without being overpowering. This is what they should have done in place of Vanilla Doubledog.
4BD was a Stone Enjoy By IPA at Bulldog. Still very good. Will be sad to see it go.

You said you got that at steins? If you stumble upon another, grab me one. I'll be in nola possibly Saturday. If not then, then soon.

I caught hints of bourbon in this, but it had a vanilla taste that was overpowering to me. Maybe it was the IPA's I had before it because the wife just didn't pick it up. Let it get to patio temp before I tasted it.

I got just the right amount of vanilla. If you thought this was overpowering, stay away from the Vanilla Doubledog on tap, which several places have right now. It tastes like straight up vanilla extract.

I came really close to trying the vanilla since we were there a few minutes early for the tapping. Glad I didn't.
I'm not put off by vanilla, but it seemed a lot for my taste.
Planning on trying the Tin Roof tomorrow. Thanks for the lists you were able to get together for the events this week.

Have you had any other JK beers? If you like Uberkind, you're really gonna like Boxer's Revenge.

i've had the noble king before, if i'm not mistaken. i really really liked that brew. this one is good, but not great IMO. then again, this is my first real dabble in a sour, so I don't have much to judge it off of.
