Dude, I didn’t know you lived in Huntsville !
FBD from my porch in Owens Crossroads is an Austrian Foreign Stout.
Which is cool for a couple of reasons. Foreign stouts were brewed for long journeys to tropical climates. So they require longer roasting and brewing. This leads to higher alcohol content and a more chocolaty taste. Another reason it’s cool is that the Germans were known for lagers, and the stout is an ale, a beer traditionally associated with the British isles.
