When the world was shining from those hills.... I lost track of the pages when they turned. They brought redemption but barricades were what we threw up where I'm from. I hope it never ends, the way we go. I hope the sentence has a verb and a noun and a preposition. Take a picture.... It will be your redemption..... The barricades are just emotional and the sentence is just something we can't speak. When my father calls I'm on the dock without courage and my mother says she was right all along. I had the right stuff but my suit was wrinkled and torn. It never turns out the way my little sister said it would. I'm talking in the strangest ways these days. Can't make plans the way my Momma says I should. I'm bound to be a disappointment to the people I care about so I just play like I don't care. These days are like a Buick in the 80s...on top but destined to lose.
