You feel the same? This beer is good, but is not great and it will be a malty mess soon IMO.

I'd like some other opinions on this one. Still really green and "hot" for being 2-3 weeks old.

Only had it on draft release day this go around and it was a boozy mess - not surprising it didn’t get much better

Kind of my point, I think this batch is off. The others from that release are on point, 5% is solid for what it is and so is draped up.

Even though it takes me an hour to get there, B52 is bringing it lately and I don't have to pre order or stand in line. Just show up and buy beer.

I really think their location is the reason they aren't as popular as spindletap. IMHO if I had to pick only one, I'm picking B52.

The ones I drank today were nothing I have ever had, IPA’s wise. B52 is doing some good stuff. I told List I’d love to try some of their beer with just hops.

ST is doing some strong hops based IPA’s. Before NOLA did a woke I could not get anything local like what ST is doing.

Maybe it's just this bad batch of clouds making me salty.

I remember a year ago, the best commercially available hoppy beer I had was 4 squared pale ale from Real Ale. (Not counting wfmbc)

Spindletap elevated the hop scene in Houston.

Actually, it was a man named Larry who wrote a piece for the Houston Beer Guide. He is the juice father of Houston and has had multiple breweries name beers after him.
