Ran to the closest Rouses to grab one thing for dinner, then I decided I'd check the beer. You never know. Freshest hops available.

I'm on my 4th one. Clocks in at 9.4%. Unfortunately that's not enough to hide the fact that this shite is a sweet, bitter, and a muddled mess. I'm gonna kill this sixer tonight because I don't want to taste it on a fresh palate again. We used to drink this garbage and think it was good. Ha. Oh well.

Plus, it will get you drunk.

I remember a few batches that I liked, but yeah, for the most part it has been a boozy, bitter mess.

But back to good beers, saw this posted by Courtyard, so PSA

Preach is fanstatic.

Welp, looks like summer is here but we have yet to feel the slowdown. We've been brewing a bunch trying to keep up. Preach! with Mosaic and Citra is going very quickly, if you want a growler. Minimum Effort, a 6.7% IPA with Galaxy and Mosaic was kegged about four days ago and tastes real good. This morning, we kegged a 5.2% pale ale with Denali, Amarillo, and Mosaic (a lower abv version of our Modern Times collab); we also transferred a 7.7% IPA with Citra and Nelson to the brite. At the end of June we'll be kegging DDH Sonic Youth in 1983 as well as another batch of Preach! Besides the hoppy things, expect to see All's Ephemeral (our hibiscus sour), a foreign export stout, and a couple of saisons we've been working on. Hope to see you. Stay cool y'all.
