SBD: Bockor Bellegems Bruin.

A west flanders ale (flanders oud bruin says ba.com). This was alot better than i expected given the cheesy logo. Cherries and musty-ness in the nose. Taste of sour cherries, slight green apple, and some earthy-woody flavor. All in all a solid sour(ish) beer.

this is your winner if you like sours. Very good, wish i could grab another couple bottles.

Yeah mikkeller is expensive. $6-$7 for 11.2 oz is the starting price. I recently got the mikkeller tiger baby for $12 in lafayette so 17 seems high on that one but everything else seems to e on par. It was a good not great apa with weaker fruit notes than i was expecting.

I will mos def grab that because I do like sours.

Any thoughts on the Dogfish Head Burton Baton? Seems a bit pricey, but I've heard good things about it. It's also now available year round.

TBD: Green Flash Rayon Vert.

Half a glass down and i still not sure if i love it or hate it. It is a very unique beer. I cant think of anything ive tried which i can compare it to. A couple different spices and im assuming theres brett in this.

eta:

As it warms im enjoying it more, like many belgians which start out questionable to me.

Eta2: gotta thank suspense for meeting me on the butte exit to send me home with this beer.

FBD was a Bell's Two Hearted Ale. Last night of vacation before we hit the road in the morning. I'm sick as a dog. So that's my only beer today. Tennessee beer selection sucks. Thought we had it bad.

I feel the same way...I only had one but will get another soon.

This was probably my problem. I had it in a hotel fridge that and the lowest setting had my beers icing up.

What's wrong B ? No need to get too graphic if it involves gastrointestinal distress.

Polishing off this Galaxy White IPA and contemplating 4BD.

I could see the spice + carbonation not being your favorite.
