Got live music on a week night.

I walked in a couple of years ago in July and Ray Wylie Hubbard was standing there by himself. I said hello and chatted for a sec....then he went up onstage and played....all for free.

You can say that again. I need to make a trip back soon. Baton Rouge's taco scene... well yeah... I occasionally have to make my own tacos

LBDs
Gin barrel aunt sally, Wilco Tango Foxtrot, Night Time, Cafe con Leche.

This place is amazing. Such a cool divey feel with a beer garden attached. Heard they have a big shiny place in Chicago. No way it matches this feel.

Wife got this and was curious. Never had a bourbon barrel aged red wine before. Pretty good, smooth, nice fruit and a touch of bourbon on the back end.

Try Apothic Inferno. I saw case stacks in Rouses and Langenstein’s.

I saw that the other day and was interested.

I've switched to red for the rest of the night.

Love Hubbard...your story reminds me of the free shows at Hill’s Cafe in Austin. Caught Micky & the Motorcars there on our way to Gruene a few years back
