You're probably 10mi or less from our hunting camp off Ronald Reagan and 3405. I usually stop for cans at the Round Rock Pinthouse on my way up.. I'll make time to check this place out.

Pretty nice spot, food was pretty good and that black ipa was good. It's baw central too so you'll feel at home.

it never occurred to me to look for a brewery in that immediate area 
there's a nice little bodega on 29 that sells Austin Beerworks and other local cans in a pinch
My FiL would definitely ask if they had natty light or High Life
