JK does great stuff and a lot of average stuff. But that's because they are always experimenting. And their setup out in the hill country is really nice and only 20 minutes from austin. I'm sad Christmas falls on a Sunday and we are only staying in Austin thru Wednesday....they are open Thurs - Sunday.....Once we are there I may try to convince my wife to stay longer.

They will have more in the future and the novelty will wear off. Their special releases draw the Traders and Horders....its an ugly crowd. They have a lot of other great stuff.....but you have to buy it at the brewery. No distro on the good stuff.

People from out of state will trade anything because it's JK, but don't know that it gathers dust on shelves here.
They have a decent list now and again of take home bottles from other breweries. That's about it.

yeah, i know one of these guys. He is loaded and has no problem spending several hundred dollars on single bottles of beer. I can't fathom it..
