The rights fascination with trump when there are easily five more appealing candidates is confusing.

Well, they went down that road with Romney and McCain and that was a disaster for them. I get why they love trump, there is a punch to his political demeanor.

I agree Biden is a disaster for the Dems but he was elected as a salve to Trump, much like Carter to Nixon. I don't know if the Dems can go against Biden in the primary and I don't know who they, we, could vote for as an alternative.

Pete would fricking dog walk him (and Kamala) if he primaries him. Even the most progressive of our fellow Americans has to see he's becoming, or has been, mentally unfit to be the leader of the free world. It won't be better in two years.

Good chat, BTW.

I can criticize Biden but I don't think he is meantally unfit. He just isn't a dynamic leader. But we knew that when we voted for him. Other than Trump, and Trump Jr from Florida, who is the GOP choice? Abbot? Most Dems didn't like Biden in 2020 but just voted for him as a vote against trump.

You mentioned DeSantis, Scott from SC, Rick Scott, the woman from the Dakotas. All of this may be off a bit because I've been drinking.

I will say though if Tim Scott wins the nomination it'll be hilarious watching the identity obsessed left trying to tear him down. The guy is a fricking American dream incarnate.

Over under on racist comments from the supposedly tolerant left is set at infinity.

I gotta get one more drink.

Ive heard Tim Scott's name but couldn't tell you anything else. Other than Trump, Dumbsantis is the heir apparent. Would you vote for him?

If Biden is the other option, 100%. And I feel like that's not an unpopular choice among likely voters or moderates. Scott grew up in SC to a single mother in poverty and rose to the US congress in the state that I think first established slavery in the US. Hard not to celebrate that determination and success.

Someone tried to convince everyone on the left that everyone on the right is racist, and it worked, but it's abject bullshite.

But he is more of a traditional Republican that doesn't have a chance in today's extreme right trump party.

Not trying to be a dick, but I feel like levying heavy claims against someone and their character and then telling anyone questioning them to find evidence to the contrary is kind of shitty.

For example. If I said Biden rapes cats and you questioned that and I said you needed to find evidence to deny that claim, it'd be shitty, right?

And no one else is in here tonight, so whatever.

Not sure which post you're responding to. But seriously interested to learn how Tim Scott is all those things you claimed. This is not me being flip. But it is me going to bed. Let's check in some beers tomorrow
