Five Guys and Shake Shack shouldn't be included in the rankings. Neither are fast food...no drive thru.

Looking at those fries made me realize something. My favorite fries (if done right) are steak fries. But nobody is really making them.

Bojangles fries are my favorite. Steak fries with the best seasoning on the market. I keep a shaker of their seasoning at home in case they don't put enough on them.

Whataburger has to be the most overrated fast food joint on TD. I’ve been to the ones in BR and Houston and wasn’t impressed either time. Their fries are decent but nowhere near the top.

Jack-in-the-Box curly fries are so criminally underrated (my fav). Perfect amount of crisp and salt.

Five Guys is probably mid tier for me. Their Cajun fries are pretty good but the texture is meh to me.

Chick fil a as well as Trader Joe's reminds me of cults because the employees look way to happy to be making 10 dollars an hour.

McDonald's fries dropped in quality considerably once they changed their preparation. I mean they're still good but not even in the same ballpark of quality they used to be. For most of my life McDonald's fries were like the holy grail of french fries....but now?

Wendy's fry reformulation was really, really well done. They're thin, crisp, good flavor, solid on the salt...just a damn good box of fries. I'd put them #1 these days. I wish I liked other food at Wendy's so I could eat their fries more often (bring back the damn Sriracha Spicy Chicken Sandwich!!!).
