Ever tried New York Tenderloin Steak

Bought some beef tenderloin at Costco for $6.99 lb. It was listed as Beef Loin New York Steak. Me thinks somebody screwed up.

it's from the short loin, not the tenderloin. same place as ny strip and t-bones

That's not what is in the package. That cut is from the Tenderloin not the short loin.
