One of the few places we could get a decent reservation time due to our last minute decision to go to New Orleans.

Any recommendations on what to get? Haven't been there in a few years.

Also, thinking about just catching the street car up St. Charles from the quarter so we don't have to drive. Good idea or bad idea?

Get the corn and crab bisque. Cannelloni is also good. Avoid trying to drive into the FQ right now; traffic is unreal, and there is little to no parking available. The streetcar is a great idea - if you're out late, get a cab back to your car.

Have to head into the quarter today because we have a hotel down there but that's why we were thinking about the street car once we get down there.

Thanks for the food advice.

Also, I've never really used the street car. About how long should it take to get to vincents from the quarter on the street car? Want to make sure we allot enough time to make our reservation.

At least 45 min. You might want to grab a cab if you're headed from the FQ out to Vincents. Probably a 15 min cab ride in that direction.

If they have a fish of the day special get it!!! If they have multiple, get the one topped with crab meat and cream sauce... I know it's an Italian restaurant but their NOLA inspired fish dishes are amazing!
