Driftwood Cask and Barrel - Serving Food

Went to the friends and family day earlier this week to try the new lunch menu at Driftwood. It was a lot more creative than I expected. Will definitely be back soon.
Ordered the Lattice and Lamb and the Smoked Shrimp Roll. The first dish was awesome. Lamb lardons were awesome and the candied jalapeño made it. Smoked Shrimp Roll was even better. Like a lobster roll but with remoulade. Plus the smoked flavor from smoking the shrimp really came through.
I was expecting regular bar food, so very pleasantly surprised.
Not my photo.

I actually went there today for lunch. Got the fried redfish sandwich cause I was trying to do the lent thing.
It was pretty good. Nothing great, but wasn't bad. Honestly never had a redfish sandwich before so i cant compare it... Structurally though the sandwich didn't really work. The redfish either has to be crispier or be on a different style of bread. It was hanging out of both sides of the sandwich, so when you bite in it just kind of fell apart.
I'd go back, mainly because I want to try their burger or wings.
