Headed to Chattanooga for a quick trip. Staying downtown and looking for some places to eat with good food and atmosphere (not necessarily really fine dining cause will have teens with us). Any ideas? TIA

Terminal - micro brew with bar food
Two Ten Jack - ramen place
Tremont Tavern - bar but has awesome burgers
1885 Grill
Tony’s Pasta - good Italian
Champy’s Chicken - great fried chicken, don’t get the tenders
Lupi’s Pizza if you like mellow mushroom style pizza

Alleia or St Johns if you want a little nicer atmosphere

Some people really like Tupelo Honey, but I am not much of a fan.

Cafe on the Corner if you want to get something on top of Lookout Mountain

Copied from another thread:

Lupis is much better than community pie in my opinion. I’ve given community pie multiple chances.
Maple street biscuit, Aretha Frankenstein, or city diner for breakfast.
Taco mamacita, and Brewhaus on northshore are decent.
I also like Urban Stack, HiFi Clyde’s, Slick’s Burgers, and Terminal Brewhouse.
There is a big river brewing company close to the aquarium, but I’ve not been impressed with their food or beer.
As mentioned Clumpies on the northshore is great for ice cream. My wife and kids prefer the ice cream show at the foot of the walnut street bridge over clumpies, but they would be wrong.

Tupelo Honey is okay, just not as good as everyone makes it out to be. My wife thinks we have to eat breakfast there at least once every trip.

Really enjoyed Alleia last time in town. If you’re looking for Italian
