I can tell you are one of the older BR people. I work with a whole crew of em and they love Don's. We brought my mom out to dinner last week and she requested Don's. I guess it goes to the nostalgia thing, sort of how Sno's stays in business. To each their own, yall have earned it.

Don's is hit and miss to me and my family. Sometimes we love it.. sometimes we hate it. I am still glad for the recipes though.

By by the way, according to the LSU Ag Center the 20 pounds of fresh crawfish called for in the stew/bisque recipes above would be equivalent to about 3 pounds of peeled tails, if you need to substitute.
