Does hog head cheese freeze well?

Never had leftovers before but bought too much this weekend.

Yes. It's even better if you can vacuum seal it.

Yes. Whenever I have leftovers, I will heat it up and put it over rice. Phenomenal meal.

Gelatins tend to breakdown and revert to liquids when frozen. So thawed head cheese may not be pretty, but will be just fine for heating and serving.

I does not freeze well…. Comes out kinda mushy and soft…. I use it in omelettes and tacos…..

Kartchner's freezes well. Which is the best IMHO. But it does not have the gelatin content of others.

Like someone else said, the freezing and thawing of the gelatin can do funny things. LOL
