Does anyone remember the Prytania restaurant in BR?

I bartended there in 1995 and just was wondering what ever happened to the place.

Yep. Was a great neighborhood bar/grill where George's is now in front of Celebrity theatre on George O'Neal. My understanding is there was a divorce that split up the property right there and one spouse got "Oak Cinema 8" and the other got Prytania.

It was back before they expanded the Georges building. Was literally a bar with a small row of bar tables behind the bar and lots of cig smoke.

Yep. Ate there many times as a kid. I'm sure that was good for my lungs
