Anyone eaten at this place in baton rouge on govt street. ??

Never been to the one on Government, but I'm going to the original in Greenville in a few weeks...

I've been a few times. Its not the highest quality beef like Ruth's, Sullivan's, etc... but the taste is delicious. Get the tamales for an app.

I've had better tamales from the Ivy's pride cart. The chili tastes like Hormel. The steaks are priced by weight.

I do like the interior, but not for a steakhouse.

Yeah. I actually really like it, sides, steaks, everything. As you can see, a lot of Baton Rougeons don't share my opinion.

I think it's really good. Granted, the steaks aren't as good as Ruth's or Flemings, but they are better than Outback and Sullivans imo.

I went twice right after they opened. I remember the steaks being great, the tamales were not.

I like it a lot, but it's pretty random.

They have good steaks, tuna and tamales.

It's expensive, but the portions are huge.

thanks, i went and really enjoyed it and ordering steak by the lb. was different but steak was huge and good fyi
