so many great places with whole fish dishes

the one at Peche with the chimichurri
fried whole flounder at Duke's
whole pompano at Lusco's & Giardina's in Greenwood, MS
the whole fish at Jesse's is excellent but I usually can't pass up the steak
there are some Thai places with some great whole fish options... 1618 in Austin has a whole redfish that is great

The various preparations I've had at Peche have all been very good.
My husband doesn't even like fish and he still talks about the bites he had of ours.

Meat on the bone is always better but fish bones are such a PITA I always avoid ordering whole fish.

Same. I’m not opposed to eating it, but it’s not something I’m typically going to order from a restaurant. There is one exception. I’m a sucker for a good mojarra frita and will get that if I see it somewhere.
