I’m making two big butts and chicken on the egg for my employees tomorrow. Made a batch of my homemade sauce. I usually refrigerate, but don’t want to have to reheat at work tomorrow

What’s in it? If it’s just ketchup/vinegar/spices I would think one day left out isn’t an issue

Ketchup, Lea and perrins, brown sugar, spices and some vinegar and hot sauce
I did caramelize the grated onions in some brown butter

I'd refrigerate to be safe.

Yep, the onions are the deal breaker. Refrigerator.
