Those fries definitely look cold and soggy.

Why the heck not? It’s not like I’m looking at a pie or something and judging what’s inside. It’s a burger on a shitty bun with wilted cheap tomato and lettuce.
Like I said, even a crappy burger is still a burger and therefore good to me. But I would be willing to bet the “best in BR” is overblown unless you simply don’t like higher quality ingredients.
Not trying to hate on you or Dixie Maid. It’s not you personally. Just see a lot of soul food joints pushed here that frankly have really bad food. I’ll give this burger a shot sometime. Just doesn’t look appealing in those photos.
