Dinner Lab Struck by a Check Fraud Scheme to the Tune of $64 Grand

When I worked accounting for a hotel, we had to redo one of our bank accounts because a delivery driver from a beverage company had taken one of our beverage checks and photo-copied the signatures onto some legitimate-looking checks. He used a duplicate check number, but it was still a good enough fake that we questioned whether or not we were right until they found the perpetrator.

I never realized how much work it would be to completely move everything to a new account. It sucked.
