What kind of food are you looking towards?

Is this tonight? A lot of the good places are closed on Monday night.

Chimes is a good option.

Del Porto or Ox Lot 9. I prefer Del Porto, though both are excellent.

Would highly recommend Lola’s. We went with another couple this past Saturday and enjoyed all four split appetizers and both entrees (got the Osso Bucco).

The wife of the husband and wife team that run the restaurant was also available in the dining room. We got the chance to ask her how many of the dishes were prepared which only added to the overall experience.

Chimes if you want to hang out and drink beer.

Oxlot/Del Porto of you want to be fancy.

Barley oak has a small menu and tons of beer on the lakefront.

Ox Lot 9

This would be my pick. 2 bars (hotel & restaurant) that mix good drinks and are pleasant to sit at. Food is just as good as most NOLA heavy hitters.
