Did any of y’all follow Junior’s Juke Joint back in the day?

This is a total shot in the dark. I’m 41. Circa 2000, I discovered a website called deltablues.net. It was ran by Mr. “Junior” Doughty of Tullos, Louisiana. The site chronicled Louisiana, Mississippi, and east Texas juke joints, honky tonks, and biker bars.
Sadly, he passed a few years ago and all the content was lost.
Junior told stories about the pig roasts at Mom’s Biker Bar in Longview, TX, about the pig ear sandwiches at the Big Apple Inn in Jackson, and about the remote, predominantly black juke joints in rural Louisiana and Mississippi.
I have a feeling most of these places, like Junior, no longer exist. But if you have recollections of places like this or know some that are still around, it would be great if you could share them.

Also, since you mention Jackson's pig ear sandwiches, try the Jackson Jambalaya site. Maybe someone there can provide a lead.
