I love K Street, but the place is always empty.
OP- have you tried Umami? Go and do the chefs tasting menu, or at least order a lot off the paper specialty menu. It’s impressive. The bone marrow beef tartare is one of the best dishes in BR
Edit- Marcellos is incredible, if you haven’t been yet. Those people love what they do and it shows.

We came to Eliza - definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in BR. Very glad we tried it - thanks FDB for the suggestions!!
Also -
I second all the praise for Nino’s. Best Italian in BR.

Book a hotel room in New Orleans.
Spend the afternoon walking and shopping Magazine St. and French Quarter.
Take your bride to any number of fine restaurants.
Get laid.

Is the parking situation and terrible road conditions out front slowly killing this place?
It certainly doesn't help.
I talked about it the other day how it's a pain to park there and just the general aesthetics of it. You're parking under a low overpass that has minimal organized parking and bad lighting.
They have a few spots that run perpendicular to the right which aren't organized. Or they have a few fabulous parking spots more to the right where you can wedge your car in the grass and lay it on some trees. The area looks like a lake when it rains also.
The parking in the entire area is atrocious for a high end place.
DiGiulios is 100 feet away but they have a dedicated parking spot that can handle their crowd.
Sadly, I think K street will close this year

I dont disagree with you much, but I do here. K Street is overpriced and boring. Would take Chelseas back in a hot minute
