Me and my Dad are taking a trip to Dallas the 21st to the 24th of month. Landing 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning and leaving around 7 p.m. Monday night. We're not gonna do any fine dining. Going to the Jimmy Buffett concert Saturday night, doing the JFK Jr. museum and downtown on Sunday, touring Jerryworld on Monday. Any good dives would be much appreciated. Burger joints and Messican places are preferred, but we're open to suggestions

I believe its dead....big family fight. The son, who ran Avillas, is opening a new place on Greenville called Mextopia.

Mexican: Mia's on Lemmon ave....not Mia Coccinas
Burger: Angry Dog or Twisted Root....both in Deep Ellum.

Pizza: Louies

Amazing for scenery, yes. For food, no.

Nice Patio, Horrible food.

El Ascedaro (sp) on Main St. near the Stockyards is a great hole-in-the -wall mexican place w/ great food.

Gotta do Jake's Hamburgers in Uptown. My personal favorite burger in Dallas. Follow it up with an ice cold Abita at Gingerman.
