Huge and sad news... Seems as though they caught infection issues really early. A friend told me sales of the bottles for the week adds up to ~$300k. They're obviously successful, but man, that's a lot of money for a small brewery!

That really sucks... for them and the consumers, but good for them for trying to make it right.

You have to respect a brewery that puts quality, customer service, and reputation ahead of short-term profits. Too many breweries these days take the easy road.

Wow, that really sucks. This should have been a really exciting time for them since it's beer week in Tampa.

I get the sentiment, but it sounds like they didn't really have a choice if the beer was contaminated.

you'd be surprised
eta: my favorite was a few years ago The Bruery released a limited beer and in the description that blatantly stated that it was showing sour notes. Like it was what they intended. I actually laughed out loud.
eta2: OR there was that time that Tin Roof decided to blend a bunch of bullshite barrel aged beers that were (probably) infected and sell it as a hyper limited release. Shockingly enough, it was infected

Found the Tin Roof pic:
Let it be said that this was when Tin Roof was in a transition period. It sounds like they have their shite together now. So. Not really a reflection on who they are now. That was a rough (but funny) stretch.
