After cooking my pork all day, my flavors are out of balance. Too much garlic (didn’t know this was possible) and a bitter flavor probably from searing it too much at the start. Any advice on seasonings or things that I could add to bring it into balance?

Should I just drown it in bbq sauce?

My go to when it’s not just right is to add a little acid, like apple cider vinegar or a little wine. Maybe even add more parsley and onions?

The solution ended up being fig preserves, lemon juice, and hoisin sauce. Surprised me too. I wanted to try vinegar but realized I didn’t have any

Have you made pork chops in a crock pot?

How do they turn out?

I made that a few weeks ago, and they turned out awesome as a rich pork stew.

This was more of a pulled pork for sandwiches and tacos.
