Creme Brulee

Sunday we celebrated my oldest daughter's birthday and instead of cake she requested Creme Brulee. So, of course she gets what she wants! :D
The small butane torch was out of fuel so I had to use the torch I light my grill with so it was a little hotter than the smaller torch.
Even being a bit darker than usual they were pretty darn good!

I use the broiler rather than a torch—I always seem to scorch too when using a torch. Broiler takes a couple minutes longer but doesn’t burn as quickly. Try it out.
