what size pot do you have....

Usually 1/2 of what you used in the first boil.

I have a similar problem. My second batch doesn't seem as hot as my first. This year I'm moving from a 60 qt pot to a 100 qt pot. Any suggestions on how much more seasoning will be required.

What Otis said is pretty exact, it's math.

Sorry, Couldn't help myself, I just finished watching the campaign. (phone call scene)
I always use half, but sometimes have to add a bit more liquid than half if using it, bc it seems to boil out.
I use 5 cups liquid, 1/2 cup cayenne, and one dry powder boil per sack.
Hope this helps brother!
Oh... and honestly, every real veteran boiler I've ever met, tastes the water. This is a fool proof way.

Just make sure you have a cold beer to wash that uber salty water down!

Very simple, the second batch should have 1/3 extra seasoning added. Will be perfect everytime guaranteed!

I use Cajunland seasoning packs and add a third extra Pk in the second boil plus I add extra lemons. I taste the water ea boil to ensure consistency.
