Easy to make one like glass….. I bought a brand new lodge and took a palm sander to it and got it as smooth as I wanted. Then I cleaned it really good with hot water. Dried it out and then started to re season. It to the point now u would swear it was over 30years old. I cook in it multiple times a week.

When the bottom warps downward and becomes a spinner. At last that is what I am guessing they have.
A little info.

Take it to a welding shop and have the crack brazed. My father cooked Jambalaya as a second income for decades. He had 10 pots from 20 gallons to 100. Most of his pots were 100 years old. One of his 100 gallon pots cracked on the bottom and up the side when it was dropped while being unloaded. He had it brazed and cooked with it until he passed away.
