Cornbread dressing pro-tip

If you don't want crunchy onion and celery bits in your dressing add about 2/3 cup of water or broth to your skillet when you saute' them. When the water cooks out, they will be soft.

Of course. There's just only so much water in butter. The celery needs more time to get soft.

I like the crunchy onion and celery bits as it gives the dish a little texture.
