I’m sick of crap grocery store tortillas I want the real thing. Any places around that make (and sell) their own?

You can buy them at Mexican grocery stores that have a taqueria in them like La Morenita or Ideal Market.

Its tough to find real corn tortillas (nixtamalized) even in Dallas. Some places do nixtamalize the corn but most use an industrial produced nixtamalized flour which is fine but not as good as a true nixtamalized corn tortilla. IMO store bought corn tortillas are a crap shoot as even nixtamalized tortillas go stale after a couple of days so most of what you find on store shelves is not great.
